The
Capital Region Career & Technical School, Schoharie campus, is a
career and technical school operated by the Capital Region BOCES.
Located at 174 Route 30A just off I-88, the Schoharie campus offers
high school and adult students more than a dozen educational
programs, including courses for students with special needs.
Inside the school, students will find classrooms featuring the
latest technology and equipment and faculty and staff who are
experts in their fields, creating an excellent learning environment.
Many classrooms are set up like actual businesses, where students
work with real customers and gain experience in their trade or
profession.
For many Career & Technical School students, learning extends
beyond the campus. Field trips and visits, job shadowing,
internships and paid employment experiences give our students an
edge in careers and college. Our school partners with local business
and industry to offer such opportunities, and employers from our
region help us to design programs that meet the changing demands of
today's workplace.
Students can also earn college credit through a number of programs
at the Schoharie campus. And we are committed to helping students
meet the state's higher learning and graduation standards. Academics
are integrated into career and technical programs, academic faculty
are on staff, and extra help is provided.
The Capital Region
Career & Technical School is accredited by the Middle States
Association of Colleges and Schools and offers programs approved by
the New York State Education Department for the Career and Technical
Education Endorsed New York State Regents Diploma.
Explore your interests. Develop your abilities. Build your future,
